In a heritage Østerbro apartment overlooking Copenhagen's beautiful lakes, a British couple has created a tranquil home for their family.

Its owners are Adrian, a British illustrator, and his wife Kate, a half-Danish, half-English design writer.

The apartment blends the pair’s most prized furniture and belongings from England with classic Danish design pieces, including Arne Jacobsen's door handle – the AJ Lever – in brass.

In the polished brass version, both shape and material are elevated – the soft, curved lines of the handle merging with timeless brass to compliment every door in the home. Designed and produced to be extensively used over generations, the lever features unique ball bearings to ensure a long service life.
