Danish design since 1971
d line is a leading heritage Danish design company developing and producing durable, sustainable, aesthetically minimal interior design solutions. Our collections feature door handles, coat hooks, doorstops, toilet roll holders, towel rails and more – and have been placed by architects in iconic buildings such as MoMA and Via 57 West in New York, and the SAS Royal Hotel and Royal Danish Playhouse in Copenhagen.
Our line is deeply rooted in the Danish design tradition, which lives through our collaborations with renowned architects and designers such as Arne Jacobsen, Knud Holscher and Bjarke Ingels. Each piece is classic, timeless and innovative, produced with an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship and quality, in which our sharp focus on function, form and character shines through.Read more
Long before sustainability became an issue of concern, d line made a promise that we would create things that are timeless in their design and enduring in their strength, so that they wouldn’t need to be bought for a purpose more than once. AISI 316 stainless steel is the core material in any d line product, because we know, that the quality in material will last for decades. Furthermore, in the production of stainless steel no chemicals are used, nor any contaminating surface treatments.
Today that commitment to sustainability exists as a 20-year guarantee on our products. This commitment extends to responsible sourcing of our steel, to low-emission hand assembly and to a lean factory that never produces more than what is needed.
When we have used the steel for the purpose we bought it for, we ensure nothing is thrown away. All our metals scraps are carefully sorted and 100 per cent recycled, as a way to repurpose, reuse and avoid unnecessary waste.
